DocsFast never uploads your documents. All 15 tools run in your browser, conversion happens in code on your device, and no server-side code exists that could receive your content — even if it wanted to.

Documents are never uploaded

When you paste text or choose a file, the conversion is performed by JavaScript already loaded on your device. The download is generated locally, in your browser. At no point during conversion does a request carrying your document leave your machine.

How the architecture proves it

The claim is enforced by construction, not by policy wording:

  • Separate engine origin. The converter runs on its own origin (engine.*) from the marketing site, in a sandboxed frame. Browsers isolate storage and network policy per origin, so site scripts and ad scripts cannot read your document.
  • Network access is switchable-off for the engine. The engine's Content-Security-Policy blocks all third-party connections (connect-src 'self') — even if the conversion code tried to send a request elsewhere, the browser would refuse it.
  • Zero server code. Both apps are static files on Cloudflare's CDN. There is no API route, no form handler, no logging service built to receive a document.

Verify it yourself in 30 seconds

  1. Open any converter tool.
  2. Open your browser's DevTools (F12) → Network tab.
  3. Paste anything — your most confidential document — and convert it.
  4. Watch the network: after the app loads, no request carries your content. What you see is the file generated in your tab.

Falsifiable claims are worth more than promises — run this test before trusting us, and run it against the converters that ask you to upload.

What does reach the network?

Like any website, your browser downloads the application itself (HTML, JavaScript, CSS, fonts) from our hosting provider, Cloudflare. We use cookieless, aggregate analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics) that record page views — never document content. Standard CDN logs may record your IP address and requested URLs; those logs cannot contain a document that never leaves your machine.

Local storage

The editor offers an opt-in "Remember on this device" draft feature that stores your document in your own browser's storage for up to 7 days. You can clear it at any time. Site preferences (like theme) are stored in localStorage. Neither is ever transmitted to us.

What we never do

  • We never upload, store or process your documents on a server.
  • We never sell data (we receive none to sell).
  • We never log document content, filenames or titles.
  • We never place cookies or run third-party ad trackers.

Changes

Material changes to this policy are recorded in the changelog with dates. This page describes engine v0.5.0, verified October 2026.
